What's The Best Way To Clean Marble?
Marble surfaces can be scratched by grit and absorb moisture, so you should immediately wipe up any spills. Clean marble regularly by using a soft cloth or sponge with a mild solution. Do not use lemon, vinegar, or any other acidic cleaner; it will eat into the marble. Remove stains with a marble polishing powder such as tin oxide.
Clean Greasy Wooden Kitchen Cabinets
Cleaning sticky wood kitchen cabinets filled with grease may seem daunting at first, but it isn’t hard at all. Dish soap is perfect for greasy residue, and some brands like Dawn are able to work wonders. In addition to this, it’s super gentle, and you don’t have to worry about hurting the finish on the wood.
Best Way To Clean Your Laminate Floors
While your laminate floors may look as good as hardwood floors, that doesn’t mean you should clean them the same way. They can scratch, so steer clear of anything abrasive (like steel wool). Traditional mopping is a no-no for laminate floors since the water can seep into the seams and cause damage (like swelling or bubbling in the floor).

Get Rid Of The Grout
You’ll notice grime and dust sandwiched between the tiles, which eventually makes the flooring or walls look dark. A great homemade solution using a toothbrush, is a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Add a few tablespoons of baking soda to hydrogen peroxide until you get to the desired consistency. The solution becomes pasty, which can then be applied on the grout. Let it sit for 10 mins and then scrub the surface.
Time To Clean Your Showerhead
If you looked up more often, you’d probably notice that many of the holes aren’t actually shooting out water, this is due to mold, mineral deposits, and soap scum build up. If you can unscrew the head, soak it in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and hot water. If you can’t remove it, fill a plastic bag with vinegar and wrap it around the showerhead. Leave it on for a few hours and open the water.
Don't Forget To Clean Around The Toilet Bowl
Our least favorite cleaning chore is the toilet. And we all know to clean INSIDE the toilet bowl, but don't sleep on cleaning AROUND the toilet bowl. It’s no surprise that this area is one of the filthiest in the home. To get a great clean, mix one cup of baking soda and one cup of distilled white vinegar. Wipe down the whole area with a cleaning towel and the whole toilet will be sparkling clean, not just the bowl.

Time To Wash Your Washing Machine
Cleaning a washing machine is essential for keeping smells and mold at bay. For front loading washing machines, place white vinegar in a spray bottle and spritz the inside of the drum and wipe all around it with a microfiber cloth. Measure out two cups of distilled white vinegar and pour it directly into your washing machine’s detergent dispenser and set the washer to run on its longest cycle with the hottest water.
Get Rid of the Most Difficult Furniture Stains
There are two main strategies for handling upholstery stains: a wet method and a dry method. No matter the mess, you’ll want to immediately sop up any excess liquid with a clean towel with gentle dabbing and blotting motions. For wet method, begin applying a cleaning solution, which will vary depending on the fabric & type of stain, gently to the spot in a dabbing and blotting motion. With the dry method, you essentially skip this step and wait for the area to dry before using a bristly brush to carefully sweep the area.
Time To Clean The Vents
HVAC vents in your home could be causing asthma or allergy symptoms. With dirt, dust bunnies, and other particles, they can easily get circulated into the indoor air, which you breathe day in and day out. But good news, air duct cleaning doesn’t have to be one of those heavy-duty tasks. Your household vacuum can suck up the dust and dirt from your air vents. Another way is to use a toilet brush with a cloth on the end. Helpful hint, wear gloves and a mask while cleaning.
